Membership
Derby Medical Society comprises members who currently work in, or have previously worked in, Derbyshire or immediately local areas (e.g. Burton) either as trainees or practising clinicians.
All health care professionals who have achieved, or who are studying towards, a higher degree level qualification in a health care profession will be eligible for membership reflecting the diversity and team-working approach in modern healthcare.
To join, please complete the online application form or request a paper form via the administration team. New members will be formally welcomed at the first meeting they attend.
Please note that membership is free for all students and junior doctors studying in the Derby area.
Members may invite guests to attend meetings for which a small admission fee may be payable. Guests are expected to maintain the confidentiality of the Society.
On occasion, meetings may have restricted access owing to the topics being presented, this will be communicated in advance.

Current rates are as follows: GP / Consultant / Specialist Doctor); For retired members of Derby Medical Society); Associate membership may be granted to a range of Allied Health Professionals including, but not exclusively, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Specialists, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Clinical Specialist Therapists, Radiographers, Ultrasonographers, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists)
